Payment Methods

Fees are determined based on a percentage of the item and a minimum cap.

Purchase fee logic

Your base rate comes from your tier rate, which is based on lifetime spend and starts at 15%.

Purchase fee = max(item total × rate, minimum cap)

*Any domestic shipping cost will be considered part of the item price.

Assume there is one ¥500 item in an order.

Per order: ¥600 ★
Per unique item: ¥200 × 1 = ¥200
Per parcel: ¥500 × 1 = ¥500
Tier rate: ¥500 × 15% = ¥75

Five cheap items from Mercari

Assume the items are ¥500 each. Each listing ships separately, so this is five parcels.

Per order: ¥600
Per unique item: ¥200 × 5 = ¥1,000
Per parcel: ¥500 × 5 = ¥2,500 ★
Tier rate: ¥2,500 × 15% = ¥375

Five items from Amazon

Items from Amazon are treated as one parcel.

Per order: ¥600

Three items from Mercari and two items from Amazon

The three Mercari listings ship separately and the two Amazon items count as one parcel, so this is four parcels.

Items above ¥50,000 use the high value brackets.

Assume ¥10,000 of items bought in person. Ticket cost or a time charge may apply on top.

Tier rate: ¥10,000 × 15% = ¥1,500
Area fee: ¥6,000 ★

Forwarding a ¥30,000 parcel

Forwarding charges a percentage of the declared value with a minimum.

Forwarding rate: ¥30,000 × 5% = ¥1,500 ★
Minimum: ¥1,000

Storage

¥150 per day, charged only after your free storage period ends.

Each step from 1 to 4 can be simulated independently.

Check the service fees that will apply.
In most cases the packing and customs declaration fees apply.
Packing is applied when the item is consolidated or repacked.
Customs declaration is applied when the declaration is left to Lunarcat or the declaration is done incorrectly.
Choose the destination and an estimate for the parcel.
Provide the customs declaration data to estimate the import duties and taxes.

How accurate is it?

The simulator is 100% accurate as long as the right values are provided.
