Lunarcat supports purchases that require a purchase to a physical location.

Fees
Supported payment methods are PayPal (including Credit/Debit cards) and Wise.
Every charge is in JPY.
Fee logic
A purchase fee is charged on top of the item price.
The purchase fee is calculated as the greater of the two values.
Area fee
¥1,000~¥12,000
Tier rate
7~15%
Offline orders may also include:
- Time charge
- Ticket cost (for events that need a ticket to enter)
- Food cost (cost of the cheapest item; for collaboration cafe where a food purchase is mandatory)
Area fee
The area fee is the minimum fee for the order.
This fee is charged based on the location.
The total fee can go above the area fee depending on the total order value, and other factors including Time charge or Entry ticket cost.

Time charge
A time charge will be incurred once we use more than 45 minutes for the purchase (excluding transportation time).
The time charge is ¥1,000 per extra 15 minutes.
Ticket cost
For events where we have to buy a ticket to enter, you will be charged for the ticket cost.

All calculations assume a new user at Tier 1 (Luna Basic I).
Purchasing items from Shinjuku
Item cost ¥10,000.
- Area fee: ¥6,000 ★
- Tier rate: ¥10,000 × 15% = ¥1,500
Failed purchase from Shinjuku
All items are sold out and not purchased.
- Half of the area fee: ¥6,000 × 50% = ¥3,000 ★
Purchasing a high value total from Shinjuku
Item cost ¥100,000.
- Area fee: ¥6,000
- Tier rate: (¥50,000 × 15%) + {(¥100,000 – ¥50,000) × 10%} = ¥12,500 ★
Purchasing a high value total from Shinjuku with 30 extra minutes
Item cost ¥100,000.
Purchase takes 75 minutes.
- Area fee + time charge: ¥6,000 + (¥1,000 × 2) = ¥8,000
- Tier rate: (¥50,000 × 15%) + {(¥100,000 – ¥50,000) × 10%} = ¥12,500 ★
The time charge only raises the minimum.
When the tier rate is higher, no time charge is added.
A non featured event at Tokyo Big Sight
Item cost ¥10,000.
Ticket Cost ¥2,000.
Purchase takes 75 minutes.
- Area fee + time charge: ¥8,000 + (¥1,000 × 2) = ¥10,000 ★
- Tier rate: (¥10,000 + ¥2,000) × 15% = ¥1,800
The ticket cost is treated as a part of the item cost.

Exceptions to Fees
Featured Events
There will be no time charge and no ticket cost for selected events.
Netprint
There is an area fee of ¥1,000, then +¥100 per extra netprint code.
FAQ
Can you shop anywhere in Japan?
No, we no longer service areas where our agents are not located.
Only Tokyo and Kanagawa are supported.
Can you cover multiple stores in one trip?
If the stores are located within walkable distance of each other, less than 15 minutes by foot, we can cover them in one trip.
If you ask us to cover different areas, for example Shinjuku (¥6,000) and Ikebukuro (¥6,000), we will consider this as two different trips and charge ¥12,000 as the area fee.
What if all items are sold out when you visit?
We no longer waive all costs when an item cannot be purchased.
Half of the area fee will be charged for unsuccessful trips.
Akihabara is an exception. No costs will be incurred for unsuccessful purchases there.
Can you do live video shopping?
No. However we can do a live chat under certain circumstances.
